I'm always amazed at how people can justify statements such as the following:

"The statement we're conveying is that there can be no business as usual for a government that would trample on democracy and international law in order to kill thousands of people for the sake of superpower status," Smith said.

Bush has not trampled on democracy. If anything, he's upholding it in the highest regard. And since Bush is killing thousands of people, I guess there is no point to deliver aid to this country as Bush attempts to liberate Iraq.
