Have you ever stopped to consider why postmodernism reigns so predominately and without recourse? I'm sure you have for the Spirit of God is with you, but please let me reiterate this point for you. The idea of postmodernism means we are also in complete and utter control of our lives. No longer does God have any authority over us. No longer can he tell us to go where we do not want to go, like he did to Jonah. Because we have a completely free life, God has no place in our lives to tell us what to do, what to say, or what to think.

Sadly, this is not the case with the Living God. As much as we value our freedoms, God plays an active role in our lives whether we want him to or not. If God wants us to say something, it will be said. If God wants us to do something, it will be done. Even in our rebellion of God, we do what he wants. This is why people find the Living God, or at least the concept of the Living God, to be so offensive. It's only then that we realize we are no longer the gods of this world.

The postmodernist must then make a decision to either continue the lie he has so elaborately made up and based his entire life to our to submit to the Living God. Even though we would prefer he submit to the one who provides life everlasting, this is rarely the case. The reason being, whether conscious or not, the postmodernists reasons submission as being on the same level as slavery. Though this is far from the truth. In reality we are trading one form of submission for another, changing from lawlessness which death, to Christ which brings life.

Truth has never been important with the postmodernist. God laws have been washed aside because they are deemed unimportant or unnecessary for we are above them now. From my understanding, the current law of this nation is based on what the Living God said thousands of years ago. Perhaps, our current laws of justice are unnecessary as well. No longer does man need to follow an antiquated system of law and justice but each live according to what feels right in his heart. No longer is there one set of laws but millions of laws. For this reason, the postmodernist has invited chaos into the lives of many. And in this way, he tries to destroy the set order of things, both in the physical and spiritual realms.

But there is hope for the who know the truth. Christ reigns and sits at the right hand of the Living God. There will be one law all are judged by. There will be no relative truths, but absolute ones. And the most important thing is whom your served during your life. Keep fighting the good fight of faith and walk in righteousness continually before the Living God.
