Here's an excerpt of what I read in the bible the other day :

The Israelites set out from Rameses on the fifteenth day of the first month, the day after Passover. They marched boldly in full view of the Egyptians, who were burying all their firstborn, whom the LORD had struck down before them; for the LORD had brought judgment on their gods.

Numbers 33:3-4

It struck me that when God frees us, whether from slavery, pornography, adultry, etc., he does it in full sight. God frees us in plain sight of the enemy and they are helpless to do anything about it. It's a wonderous thing. Once God frees us from the things that hold us captive, we have the ability to march boldly through the battlegrounds of that enemy in plain and full sight. The Israelites did not slip away in the night only later to be discovered in the morning as having escaped.

When God does a miracle, such as the Israelites deliverance from Egypt, it is there for everyone to see, even the enemy. Is this why we come under attack so much?
